The Bowater Toyota Community Mini Bus is a free value added service we offer to our customers and the wider community.
Our 12 seater mini bus (driver plus 11 passengers) is available to use FREE OF CHARGE for community groups, sports teams, schools and other charitable organisations. 

In order to have access to use the Community Mini Bus, you must be able to meet at least 2 of the 3 criteria

1. Are you a client of Bowater Toyota?
2. Is the vehicle for use in the Nelson Tasman area?
3. Are you representing a group that is community focised or not for profit?

It is not a taxi and we do not charge for it's use.
We just ask that it always is returned full of fuel and cleaned, inside and out, and that you abide by our Terms of Use as set out below. 

The community van can be booked by groups and individuals for the purpose of community focused events. This is sporting groups, music groups, school groups, clubs and community organisations.

The terms of use for the Community Van once the preliminary application has been approved are:

• The van is collected in a clean state and is full of fuel.
• The van must be returned in a clean state and full of fuel. (91 unleaded petrol)
• No food or animals are permitted in the van.
• No Vaping or Smoking permitted.
• The van is signed over to the responsible driver and they are responsible for any and all traffic fines etc.
• Insurance is covered for drivers over the age of 25 who have had their full unrestricted licence for more than 5 years. The standard excess of $500.00 applies in the event of any accident that has been caused by said driver, or drivers, who have been given access by those responsible.
• The van will be checked over and signed by the driver on pick up, noting any damage or defect. This same form will be reviewed and the van checked upon return, noting any damage or defects. These will be the responsibility of the Driver to cover any costs to rectify.
• If the van is returned and is not clean, a cleaning cost of $250.00 will be charged to the driver.
• If the van is returned without a full tank of fuel, the cost to fill the tank will also be charged to the driver.
• Van collection and return time is to be agreed between 8am 5pm Monday – Friday.
• Van collection and return is only available at Bowter Toyota Nelson location.
