Local dentist caps off a great challenge
Local Motueka dentist Richard Lewis from Pienaar Dental Centre came by to take the Prius Challenge at Bowater Toyota in Motueka and also took one of the top spots on the Leader Board!
Richard loved taking the challenge so much he is considering coming back this week to see if he can better his current eco score and hit Number 1!

The Challenge is all about getting as many people as we can to experience hybrid driving style.
It is this conscious driving with energy efficiency in mind that will not only save you money but collectively if enough people do it, it could save us all from burning through the gas faster than we need to be.
One thing we have learned from Nick Marer, winner of the first Nelson Prius Challenge, is that we just need to plan ahead and be gentle on the gas pedal. He effectively gave us a score of fuel consumption around half of most "normal" driving styles.
